About 100 Club of Ada County
In 2021, our founders, Larry and Patty Goodman, relocated from the San Francisco East Bay Area to Ada County. Larry, a retired Superior Court Judge who served over 33 years in the criminal courts in Alameda County and Patty, a business professional, current active Board Member and Survivor Family Liaison of the Alameda County 100 Club, saw the need to assist first responders and their families in their time of need.
The Club will be led by a 100% volunteer board of directors consisting of concerned community and business members.
In 2023, the 100 Club of Ada County was incorporated in Idaho and received its status as a 501(c)3 charitable, nonprofit corporation from the Internal Revenue Service.

100 Club History
The original idea was launched in 1950 when a concerned citizen in Detroit, Michigan, decided
to do something to help the expectant wife of a young peace officer killed in the line of duty.
This community member, William Packer, wrote to one hundred of his friends asking them to donate funds for the family, thus the name of the club. In 1952 that club was incorporated as the first "Hundred Club." There are now over 100 active clubs.
